#I’m certain the Doctor is pleased to have earned a knighthood #But he’s lived 900 years and been to thousands of planets #He’s seen things most living beings couldn’t begin to imagine #And a knighthood is just a blip in his life experiences #But the way he looks at Rose in this scene - he is more pleased for HER SAKE than anything else #He’s proud of how brave she’s been and he knows that no matter what else they face together #Or how long they have #Or what else she has to go through #She will always live with the knowledge that England’s greatest queen recognized Rose’s courage and actions #This time he isn’t the only one telling Rose she’s brilliant #For Rose this moment of recognition is quite profound #And the Doctor’s hearts are leaping in joy that she is Dame Rose #(And if that isn’t an excuse for a celebratory shag then what the hell is?)

Are you fucking kidding me? Even if you did hate her (which you can’t justify because Sansa is better than you in every single way), why the hell would you ever ever think it was “fine” for a girl to be verbally and physically abused for any reason in front of so many people? She was 11/12 when her betrothed commanded for people to rip her dress off and to physically beat her! I don’t care who the fuck you think you are, this is never “fine.”
